Louis Henri Denis Jadot purchased 3 acres of this vineyard in the 1830's and it has long been considered one of the very finest Beaune 1er Crus, producing the quintessential Beaune with enticing perfume, generous fruit with savoury notes and good structure.  Opening up nicely, there's an adbundance of red and black berries, beetroot, minerals, and spices.
