In 1992, Andre Gagey bought a parcel of this 1er Cru vineyard which is situated directly below the great Grand Cru vineyard of Bonnes Mares. This superb vineyard yields exquisitively structured wines with aromas of violets and cherries and subtle but ripe red berry flavours on the palate.  A beautifully scented wine offering violets and red berries together with a smooth, silky palate, firm yet smooth tannins and lovely mouth-feel make this a wine of great finesse and elegance.
